Kanon (カノン, Kanon?) is a Japanese visual novel developed by Key and released on June 4, 1999. The original version, first available on the PC, contains content of a sexual nature, though a version without this content was released on January 7, 2000. On September 14, 2000 a clean version was released and ported to the Dreamcast, while a PlayStation 2 version followed on February 28, 2002. The PC versions were re-released with added support for Windows 2000/XP on November 26, 2004 (adult) and January 28, 2005 (all-ages), under the name Kanon Standard Edition. The last release was for the PlayStation Portable on February 15, 2007.
The gameplay in Kanon follows a linear plotline where the player interacts at pre-determined times to choose several options that appear on the monitor. The game was developed so that the focus for the player would be an intricate plot and the appeal of the five female main characters. The title is generally believed to be derived from the musical term canon; the second TV adaptation plays on this association by using of Pachelbel's Kanon D-dur, or Canon in D, as a background piece at certain instances throughout the series.
Kanon has made several transitions to other media. There are two anime adaptations, the first being a thirteen episode TV series that first aired on January 30, 2002, which includes one episode of an OVA, Kazahana, released on May 3, 2003, both by the animation studio Toei Animation. The second anime adaptation, created by Kyoto Animation, aired in Japan between October 5, 2006 and March 15, 2007, containing 24 episodes. The original game inspired the creation of novels, drama CDs, and a manga adaptation.
Kanon's popularity outside of Japan can be signified by the fans' efforts, such as those in South Korea and China, to release unofficial translated versions to the public. |

This might be easily my most grueling match with Ayu yet. Talon, with his quick speed, annoying grabbing and stomping moves and deadly supers proved to be the toughest that the little gal faced yet and I held on with him in a very long battle to the death in which I would have been easily slaughtered if it wasnt for Just Defend. |

| Ayu-chan finally gets her first solo battle, meeting Telechys Underdog from the Saturday Morning cartoon of the same name. However, there is a little something on both sides that I never counted on, dragging the match up to 5 minutes and a half...

You see, Ayu has Just Defend, meaning that she can get heatlh back by blocking at the right time. Underdog has a super where he grabs a house from nowhere (Yeah, lets see Iron Man use this as another excuse to support some silly super-human registration act.) and rams it into you, causing its bricks to fall off and hit you (Yes, every single brick can hit... and theres a lot of them.).
When those two things meet, the action slows down (explaining the length) while Ayu regains a lot of health back; this was extremely useful for me as it is clear that I struggled against the furry hero, who is extremely aggressive just like all of Telechys chars (although they dont reach Marvin-level besides Marvin himself, thankfully.). At the end, Underdog couldnt support such comebacks and simply died off. |

| I miss playing her. This is the very first Mugen character I ever played, Sayuri Kurata from Kanon and Eternal Fighter Zero. I havent played her anymore recently until now eversince I was busy picking up on other characters and almost forgot about her. I decided to pick up on her again and give her a go.
In fact I decided to initiate her into my team after practicing and reaquainting myself with Sayuri again. In order to pass as a team member she must take a test by taking on one of the best enforcers in the team, Baby Bonnie Hood. Not only is Sayuri taking on Baby Bonnie Hood but she will take on BBHs most powerful form, her Golden form where her power is doubled in this form, making her much more dangerous than before. Coming from a flight the two will duke it out in the airport. Will Sayuri pass the test? |

Antic Cafe - Expect Rush Photoshoot (English subtitles) |
| Yay!~~ ^o^ Ive never subbed anything before, but this clip is too cute and since I had it on my computer, I decided to try. It looks pretty decent, ne? Everything isnt subbed (like the parts where they take pictures and people talk in the background) but enough to make sense, at least. Not that An Cafe seems to make any sense here. XD If you understand a few Japanese words and are like me, youll be thrilled when you pick some words up here and there!
I did not translate this. I didnt change anything in the translation except a couple of words sometimes, just to make it easier to understand. But some sentences even I dont get, hehe. Still, Im happy to have it translated! ^_^ I take no credit for anything but subbing and uploading it.

| So while I was in my local Anime store, I came across a special edition of Kanon. I had no idea they re-made the series! Ecstatic, I of course bought the box set and watched them all! It was refreshing to re-watch the entire story with more depth! Well, after watching it I of course had to make at least one AMV of it. I chose to portray the relationship between Maokoto and Yuuichi, even though Shioris my favorite character. Enjoy! |

She carries a very powerful handgun as well as an assortment of other tools for extreme lockdown gaming, rivalling with Baby Bonnie Hoods ability of that. Makoto must pass a test by beating Omega Forces leader, Miyako Arima herself. This girl is strong as hell let alone very quick but what makes her the greatest threat is her extremely powerful Supers and her goddess-like parrying abilities. Will Makoto beat the parry, kung fu master with her arsenal or fall into failure? |

We learned this version of the song in middle school. I dont know which is the original. Perhaps neither.

A "canon" (for those who do not know) is the name for a piece of music that is based on the constant repetition of the same series of chords (in this case, its eight chords). Slowly more music is added as the chords repeat, building and moving the piece forward.
I dont know how or when Pachelbels canon became associated with the holidays, but it has, and (since composers like to say it in song) I thought it would be a great way to send out my holiday wish for everyone in the YouTube community. In the first part of this improvisational version, I try to get the essence (loosely based) of the original and in the second half I change the rhythm a bit and add my own melody (using the same repeating chords) in the same way that Im encouraging you in my holiday wish to add your own unique melody to the repetitive roles you play in life.
My holiday blessing for all who read this:

| Quelques petits commentaires sur cette vidéo ... Tout dabord soyez indulgents si elle a quelques petits défauts (notamment à la fin) cest mon premier montage video pour faire ce genre de clips, et je ne suis pas habitué aux logiciels du type adobe premiere et autres windows media maker (ce dernier ma dailleurs donné bien du fil à retordre de par son instabilité) et je suis dailleurs preneur si des gens sont calés sur tout ça ça mintéresse !!
Jai voulu rendre un hommage à lultime chapitre de la série Saint Seiya (les chevaliers du zodiaque) : le Hadès chapter , lui-même subdivisé en 3 sous chapitres : Junikyu Hen (les 12 maisons) ; Meikai Hen (les enfers) et Elision Hen (les champs elysées, le paradis) en mettant un peu des images de chaque. cest un peu une ébauche, un pré test (appelé à être sans doute amélioré et je mettrai sans doute plus tard une version mieux réalisée, mais si elle plait à quelques personnes en létat tant mieux ^ ^
Le chapitre Elision nétant pas encore sorti en animation et le chapitre Meikai partiellement seulement, jai fais avec les moyens du bord à savoir, des images des OAV déjà existants et pour compléter des video célèbres réalisées par des fans comme le fameux trailer Hadès de jérôme Alquié qui est bien connu, depuis le salon cartoonist 2001 où ce grand fan de Saint Seiya le présenta ; et aussi des extraits du trailer Zeus premier du nom (de quelques secondes) pour le sacrifice de Kanon notamment, réalisé par les membres de la Zeus Team.
Jespère ne pas avoir de soucis au niveau des droits mais mon intention va surtout à rendre hommage à la fois à la série et à leur propre travail;
Jespère que la vidéo vous plaira, je me suis permis aussi un petit délire en ajoutant quelques images du film Gladiator ; Les musiques sont pour la plupart des musiques de saint Seiya, dont un magnifique thème à lorgue récurrent dans les derniers OAV du Meikai que jadore ainsi quun thème du tenkai et un magnifique thème émouvant pour la séquence dramatique. Seule exception à la règle la reprise dune musique de la BO du film épique Alexandre, composée par Vangelis. Pour le passage du Junikyu.
La vidéo est censée à al fois rendre hommage aux épisodes déjà sortis du Hadès chapter et annoncer (un peu comme un mini trailer ) le chapitre Elision qui ne devrait plus tarder, et qui sera lultime champ de bataille pour nos saints dAthéna. Voilà ... |

EFZ "Final Memory" Moves Exhibition (Read Full Explanation!) |
| I am going to work on a project in the future that will require splicing video clips together, now that I have just discovered how to use VirtualDub to splice together video clips. But to do this project, I needed to test this newfound capability. So as a "test", I have recorded the "Final Memory" moves from the fanmade one-on-one fighting game "Eternal Fighter Zero" (you can only perform these moves if your life bar is flashing AND you have your Eternity Special meter at level 3), and then spliced them all together in the following order: Kanon characters in alphabetical order, Ikumi from the MOON game, the ONE characters in alphabetical order, and finally the AIR characters in alphabetical order. Note to EFZ veterans: I AM NOT AN EXPERT! So these clips are unprofessional-looking (especially Mizukas, since I do not know how to rack up hits quickly during her time-stop; Mishios, since her Final Memory is only the ability to do both fire AND lightning moves which I had to demontrate; and Doppels, which is only a faster recover of your Rush and Eternity Special meters which I had to demonstrate with multiple tornado and curry moves). |

Johann Pachelbel war Barockkomponist, Organist und ein Zeitgenosse von Johann Sebastian Bachs Vater. Pachelbels Kompositionen waren ihrer Zeit weit voraus, denn sie verweisen bereits auf die Werke von Johann Sebastian Bach. Dies stellt das Konzert mit dem Ensemble "Les Agrémens" erneut unter Beweis. Auf dem Programm stehen die Kantaten "Jauchzet dem Herrn alle Welt" und "Christ lag in Todesbanden", sowie die Sonate für Streicher und Bass aus "Musikalische Ergötzung"
Von Johann Pachelbel scheint die Musikgeschichte heute nur noch eines zu kennen: seinen berühmten Kanon. Dabei hat der Organist und Freund von Johann Sebastian Bachs Vater, Johann Ambrosius Bach, den Leipziger Thomaskantor maßgeblich beeinflusst.
Dass Pachelbel mit Fug und Recht als ein brillanter Vorgänger Bachs bezeichnet werden kann, beweist das Konzert des Ensembles "Les Agrémens" und der Solisten des Kammerchors von Namur unter der Leitung von Jean Tubéry.
