Zelda OOT: Volvagia in Kokiri Forest (Full Battle, Test Run) |
| I was testing this new string of codes that I discovered editting 2 digits, and I discovered a way to hack 1 kokiri into 3 objects, so I used 2 to create the full volvagia battle.
As for the framerate, the game lags with animation on any computer and the screen recorder doesnt help, so, if you think this is slow, no rom played on a computer ever runs as smoothly as it would on an N64, because an N64 doesnt have files loaded in its memory thats not being run.
So, stop complaining about the speed quality of my videos, because this screen recorder is the fastest I could find. |

This took FOREVER to make. Each time I dragged a clip into my movie, it took about 52 seconds (yes, I was so bored I counted) for it to load. And then I had to crop it, which was even worse. Windows Movie Maker freaking sucks.

PC - Wolfenstein 3D - E2M1 100% Video |
| Description: A run-through of Episode 2 Level 1 on Death Incarnate difficulty, starting with pistol + 8 bullets, obtaining 100% kills/treasure/secrets.
Recording Method: Made a ZMBV with DOSBox 0.70. Loaded it in VirtualDubMod, created a WAV file of the audio and converted it to MP3 with Lame, and fast recompressed the video using the XviD codec.
Comments: Thus begins my favorite episode of the whole game. The atmosphere throughout is tremendous - grimy walls, night outside, great music, and most importantly...the mutants.
You will encounter them constantly through these levels, and never see them again (unless you can find Episode 6s secret level). Theyre just as durable as the SS and quicker to fire, but the main challenge comes from the fact that they never make a sound except for shooting. When turning any corner, you must take utmost caution or youll be dead in about 2 seconds.
In this basic intro level, you will only fight mutants. Kinda odd - youd think they would keep these genetic experiments hidden in the lower levels, but whatever. At least theyre nice enough to give you a machine gun straight ahead. =)
And, of course, this is where the secret level is located, so naturally I take that exit. Not really hard to find at all.
Note how much fun the normal exit room is, and then remember that this is only level 1. Yeah, thats what Im talking about. ;) |

Demon Hunter Mai and the Cheap Busters Episode 2 |
| #79 - Most Discussed (Today) - Gadgets & Games - All
Another episode of my new cheap owning series and the protagonist of the show makes her actual appearance... Demon Hunter Mai! This Mai Kawasumi (Mai_K) by Kuri has been editted by Garionfeld himself. She has some bugs but she is similar to Hyper Mode Unknown with some actual one-hit-KO moves and is faster and stronger than the original with some new attacks.
The victims of Mais hitlist are:
1)Elque(Yuki): Yuck, this monster is cheap (he even looks like a demon). His speed is overwhelming and he is a corner whore, loving to pin any enemy helplessly as he combo whores them away, vunerable or blocking. He can heal rapidly and has overpowered Supers, one of them that is a one-hit-KO he can pull out of his ass when he needs it.
2)Master Geese (Cannon Musune): If vomit can come in the form of magma and explode violently out of my mouth I would have done it on Master Cheese. His attacks are vastly overpowered and his speed can catch you unexpected. This guy is a grapple whore (his throws are overpowered alright, too) and loves to combo you while chaining throws in between. He can counter and possesses, too, a one-hit-KO move.
3)Cheap Boss Type (Pneophen): The abstract of cheap who looks like he is based off a character from "Tuff Euff". Hes got it all, power, speed, a huge combowhore, a teleport counter which allows him to escape combos, can brush off some random hits and not take damage. If that isnt bad enough he has a Cheap x10 Mode after he has been defeated where his stats beef up, gains Hyper Armor, more absurdly powerful moves, and can summon a clone when he is down at 50% or less of full health to kick your ass. His time slow ability allows him to kick your ass even more in a fraction of a second (literaly) and has a one-hit-KO move.
4)Sephiroth (Gulthor/Sephimugen): The most overrated villain of all time it is no surprise he is the cheapest of this foursome of cheapness. His Defense and Attack power are severely excessive and with his retardedly long sword his range in his generic slashes are incredible and allows little opportunity to approach him. He can heal rapidly and has a teleport that disrupts battle while he can sneak in free attacks while he teleports, in which he spams chronically. Worst of all he has Supers where he gains invincibility frames from, annoying and disruptive Specials, and a load of one-hit-KO moves.
Note: Power for Demon Hunter Mai has been reduced to 50% for a fair fight. ALL combatants are AI controlled. |

Comments: More slime, more somber music, more mutants...I love it!
Theres a neat trap at the beginning - a mutant far off in front of you, and two from behind. This is the reason this level took more attempts than any other thus far...you have to kill a bunch of them, with only the pistol; since they shoot so fast, this GUARANTEES that you will take damage. Believe it or not, I actually do better here than most attempts, health-wise!
If you can survive all this, youll reach an actual, normal-looking area with actual human enemies. I still have to be careful, though, as there is not much extra health to be found in this level.
After working through all the red brick and grabbing the gold key, youll go back into a creepy dungeon with some guards hiding. The area with 3 SS can be tricky, as they will either run straight at you or take the doors to sneak up from behind. After that, its smooth sailing - youll see a few more mutants, but by then you have the chaingun so no biggie. =D
Still, a beastly level this early in the game... |

Comments: Really boring & easy level, a disappointment this late in the episode. Older versions of the game had one neat bit of design here: The correct doors to take all had pools of blood lying by them. Apparently theyve been removed from the Activision re-release, though. =/
Notice how the levels progressively get shorter and contain fewer enemies late in the episode? This one especially; that long corridor of 9 secret doors must add over a minute to the time. |

PCSX2 Save State Hacking - Memory Card Savestate Gameshark |
| Playstation 2 emulator pcsx 2 doesnt have a gameshark plugin like pec in epsxe but it is possible to hack the save states.
Required:
Hex editor

Ability to compress and uncompress gz files

The steps are:
1. Accumulate over 65536 gold (best for rpgs or scores =P). Eg. 74025
2. Convert that number into hex with a calculator. Eg. 12129
3. Add a 0 to the beginning if its an odd number of digits. Eg 012129
4. Think of the number in pairs. Eg. 01 21 29
5. Reverse the order of the pairs. Eg 29 21 01
6. Add the gz extension to the savestate.
7. Unzip the savestate with 7-z.
8. Open the uncompressed savestate with a hex editor and search for the number sequence from step 5 (no spaces).
9. Change the value replacing the string with FFFFFFF or whatever you want to change the value too (keep in mind you have to reverse the order of the pairs if you have a specific number you want to change it to).
10. Save and recompress the uncompressed file with 7-zip.
11 Delete the gz extension.
12 Load the game and see if it worked. If it didnt reset the changed code to its original value, find where the number occurs again in the savestate: recompress, reload, repeat. |

Masako VS Hyper Neo-Kamek -MUGEN |
| Hyper Neo-Kamek is one insane mofo. Unlike Kamek, his attack and defense are up, have a extremely furious AI, likes to kick you up in the air and combo your ass and use his specials and chain his specials.
It took me quite a while to land a hit on him but, then I found a strategy. I use Masako to get right in front of him and block his attacks and off load my attacks inbetween his.
I dont like to end my game in a Time Over but, I can always face him again ... someday.

My Epic Xenosaga Episode 3 Trailer Version 0.99 |
| This is pretty much what the complete version will look and sound like. Theres a "final" version uploaded but I changed one shot due to creative differences with my partner. We have decided to change it back, but I am probably not going to upload it for it looks exactly the same as this one. Just that the high frequency distortion during the dialog has been cleaned and filtered.
Rate it/leave comments/spread the good word.
Edit: (March 11th 2007) GRRR Im very upset. My friend doesnt approve of a few shots but I dont agree with him. So yeah, little bit of creative vision conflict. So anyway, thats the delay reason of the final version.
Edit: (March 28th)I entered a version of this Xeno video into the music video competition at anime north and they said (in a paraphrase):
We have come to the conclusion that you made this yourself and that it is not a licensed trailer. However it looks a lot like one which is a problem.
We have been debating if fan made anime trailers are music videos. Your artistic vision statement says that your video is just to promote the game and that it does not try to juxtapose images with sounds etc.
We have decided to disqualify your video and next year we will instate a rule to disallow fan made trailers. (End of my paraphrase)
So... apparantly, you can get penalized for working too hard to produce a good product.
Also, that artistic statement. With the word cap at 50 words, that does not leave room for me to say anything other than it is a trailer.

My Xenosaga Episode 3 Epic Trailer Final |
| Final version. This is it. Pretty much the same as Version 0.99. I just cleared up the high frequency distortion you would hear in some of the voice clips and due to "creative differences" with my partner, I changed a shot.
Question though: Do you like the Canaan and Voyager shot more in the previous one or the Rubedo and Nigredo one.
Edit: (March 21st) My partner has seen the errors of his ways. Im changing it back to the Voyager and Canaan shot. (Unless theres a sudden burst of comments saying that they like the Rubedo Nigredo shot better.)

We have come to the conclusion that you made this yourself and that it is not a licensed trailer. However it looks a lot like one which is a problem.
We have been debating if fan made anime trailers are music videos. Your artistic vision statement says that your video is just to promote the game and that it does not try to juxtapose images with sounds etc.
We have decided to disqualify your video and next year we will instate a rule to disallow fan made trailers. (End of my paraphrase)
So... apparantly, you can get penalized for working too hard to produce a good product.
Also, that artistic statement. With the word cap at 50 words, that does not leave room for me to say anything other than it is a trailer.

| Description: A run-through of Episode 3s secret level on Death Incarnate difficulty, starting with pistol + 8 bullets, obtaining 100% kills/treasure/secrets.
Recording Method: Made a ZMBV with DOSBox 0.70. Loaded it in VirtualDubMod, created a WAV file of the audio and converted it to MP3 with Lame, and fast recompressed the video using the XviD codec.
Comments: Featured for the first time on YouTube, the infamous Pac-Man stage! No, this is NOT a mod - this is an actual secret level in the original game!
The layout is almost exactly the same as the first level of Pac-Man - the "warps" were changed into level exits, the pellets became chalices, and the power pills were turned into extra lives. You even have the ghosts, who drain your life veeeeery quickly.
The old "ghost box" contains 4 enemies who wander around. I shoot at the beginning to spread them around, as facing all of them at once just gets you killed.
This was actually the most frustrating level to record, believe it or not. Theres a ton of treasure in a large maze, and the ghosts & enemies are kinda random as to where theyll be. I used the score to make sure I got 100%, haha.
A *very* neat idea, and the definition of a secret level. This is why I said it was worth going through that stupid maze to get here. =) |

Comments: Now THIS, my friends, is where the episode gets good. One of my favorite levels in the whole game.
In particular, they decided to pull a delightfully evil design trick on the players - stick this really long & complicated maze near the start, give you the gold key at the end of it...and if you can find your way back out, you eventually learn that you DONT NEED THAT GOLD KEY AT ALL. I absolutely love it. =D
Even beyond that, its an intense shootout with groups of enemies attacking you in a variety of methods. When grabbing the silver key from the secret door, I "should" have just taken out all the officers/SS behind that door...but I figured it would be more fun to run straight up to them and blow em all away. =)
This one took me awhile to get right, mostly just with remembering the maze layout. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did! |

| READ THIS FIRST!!! So, i needed a challenge, something i havent seen ANYONE else do yet. Im copyrighting this video as my own idea, as i havent seen anyone else do this, EVER, and if they have, then they must not have loaded it up to youtube yet lol. Anyways, this was one of the hardest fights EVER. Dhalsims is a tough opponent as is, but go against 2, and your sanity might just disspear. I did this in 2 parts, the first part i lose, but it is to show you WHY i had to spam some of the moves i do in the second part, and why i had to use such brutally damaging supers. The first part of this video shows why i had to do that the second time around, and if i hadnt, it would have just ended like the first. This fight literally took me over 30 tries to win. Im sure someone else out there could do this alot easier then me, but i will go down as the first!! Dhalsims has some crazy ass moves, but ill let these videos speak for themselves!! |

*MAJOR SPOILER ALERT* If you havent watched up to FMA episode 47, there are huge Lust and Scar spoilers up ahead. *Sighs*...this video was almost not uploaded, because it was just such a pain in the ass to make. Ive never used Apple iMovie before to make AMVs, because the import function takes hours to load a single episode! And then exporting was another hurdle along with making the intro. *Wipes brow* Anyways, enough of me whining about this stuff. Im really happy with how this video turned out, especially the 30 second intro...its so pretty and the angsty AMV song fits Lust and Scar so perfectly! Both songs, the intro and the AMV song, are by the phenomenal game music composer Bill Brown. The video centers around Lust, but also shifts focus to her relationship (or lack thereof, *pouts*) with Scar. It shows, *hopefully*, how Scar and his memories of his brothers dead lover now semi-revived (its that a mouthful?) bring out Lusts more human side. So, if you have time please rate and comment. Battlefield 2 in Hi-Def from a MacBook Pro |
| My xbox360 had to be sent in for repairs, and I missed playing Battlefield so much that I decided to load my MacBook up with it and play. So I threw it on my Windows XP Partition on my 15" MacBook Pro and it ran beautifully. Then it hit me. My Sony 34" Widescreen HDTV has a DVI IN on the back, and my Macbook has a DVI OUT! Eureka! I could play Battlefield in High Definition on my High Definition TV. Brilliant! So I set er up, and viola! High Def Battlefield! It looks absolutely spectacular, and it plays smooth as butter. MacBook Pro, Intel Duo Core, 256MB Video Card, 2G of RAM and Battlefield 1.41. Enjoy the opening sequence. (NOTE: Kids were sleeping, so I had to hold up the headphones to the camera, and it was just our little Kodak Easyshare, so the qualitys not THAT great, but it was quick and dirty, so you get the idea. |

Comments: This is what a hidden level should be - challenging, weird, nothing like the rest of the episode, and full of secrets.
This stage uses every wall texture in the shareware version, but mainly the purple vines + ceiling (which arent seen normally until E2L6). Combined with the music, you really do feel lonely...
Its definitely the hardest level in Episode 1 as well, as there are a lot of SS and regular guards in awkward spots, with no chaingun and not much health outside of secret doors. That fake exit will bring up memories for many of you, Im sure. =)
You may notice that on the way to the gold key, I find an area with 2 secret doors and dont use them - this is a shortcut to the locked door which is normally very helpful but doesnt fit in with the 100% route.
One last general note - the game doesnt give you stats for secret or boss levels. I ended up having to use a map-editing program to view the level, and can confirm that this is a true 100%. |

Resident Evil 4 Speed Run 4-1 Part 2 |

I finally figured out Windows Movie Maker, so I`m uploading the missing segments which were previously too long. Yet another long start to a new chapter. To start things off, I probably should have switched to the flash grenade right away instead of waiting until I killed that guy blocking my path. Because it was at the beginning of the segment, I easily could have retried until I dodged him. Anyways, I use a flash grenade to knock off the zealot controlling the dragon which blocked the way to the chest because none of my other weapons seemed strong enough to break the locks efficiently, and shooting him from the side after waiting for the fire to be blown in the middle proved to be too time consuming. This did, however, set me back, as I was a grenade short for the Knights in the following part. Luckily, however, there was a flash grenade conveniently placed on a chair just barely off the beaten path. I shot the falling ceiling tiles before they descended, saving a few seconds(even though it was a bit slow), and I may have been a bit slow killing the second zealot in the killing machine, though I dont know for sure. Right before the knights room, there are suits of armor you have to dodge. During the time where it prompts you to dodge its attack by hitting a button combination, you can walk or run in any direction. The knight attacks too fast to completely dodge the attack, as shown by the second knight, but this is still beneficial because instead of losing five or more steps during the dodge back flip, you only lose those five steps minus the length you managed to go before pressing the dodge buttons. I discovered this trick on these knights, which is why you dont see me use it with Ashley, and I figured it didnt save enough time to warrant a re-run of the previous segment. The actual Knight boss battle went pretty well, though every bit of ammo I picked up proved to be wasted time. One of my biggest regrets of this run was the use of the yellow herb. I didnt mean to pick it up; when I was running toward the door, I was simply tapping A in anticipation of the door, and I accidentally picked it up. It did, however, prove to be moderately useful by the end of chapter five. I got pretty lucky in the hallway right after the Knight battle, as, despite several extremely close calls, I managed to get through un-damaged. Too bad I couldnt say the same for the Novistador nest room. It was all going perfect: I ran to the switch, shot down the bridge fairly well (I only missed once, but it was a quick-fix), turned around, kicked a couple of novistadors, then one grabbed me. Had I run a few steps farther, Id have been able to kick the approaching novistador, and continue on my merry way. This, of course, didnt happen, but luckily that was the only damage taken in that room. In the clock tower, I should have re-loaded at the bottom as I waited for the dynamite to explode, but Luckily Leon reloads fairly quickly. In my opinion, the zealot who grabbed me at the bottom either should have missed, or grabbed my back, as I wasnt even close to facing him when I got grabbed. The next parts went pretty well, though, as I was recording the run, I thought I had missed the garrador with the rifle shot, which was the reason I reloaded. I should have switched to the rocket as soon as I bought it from the merchant, as Leon seems to run faster with it, and picking up the incendiary grenade was pointless because I used an alternate strategy for Krauser. |

For those of you that it says "The 1M circut board is not installed", just follow these instructions:
Go to Options on the VBA, Emulator, Save Type, Flash 128k, and there! Youre done!

Youve probably seen a lot of Sephiroth battles. This one is different not in the speed, difficulty, or efficiency of the battle. No, what makes this slightly unique is that I used no Cure spells and no curative items. Nothing. Its not very impressive. I did take a few hits, but Ive proven (to a certain person) that cure is not necessary.
This was done by me, AKA Cerberiga, AKA VorceBlade, AKA Bill Smith.
P.S. The clicking sound (of me mashing buttons) isnt as bad as it seems. Its just that my controller was right next to the sound recorder of my camcorder.

Glens Super Mario World - Glens Island 3 |
| This is the second challenge level I created, redoing Yoshis Island 3.
I decided to go in a different direction than the one the original level takes. Whereas the level in the original game leads you high into the sky across platforms and stuff, my level takes on the appearance of the ruins of an ancient volcanic palace. Ive loaded this place up with more lava, lots of Bullet Bills, Upside-down Pirahna Plants, Goombas and Koopas than you can shake a wrench at.
Lots of strategy needs to be employed here as I have lots of tricky jumps and tight squeezes crammed in, as well as a particularly nasty little fork in the road with a Yoshi coin that, if taken, will not allow you to complete the level without having to die first.
Youll notice I have no halfway points or alternate exits in this stage as well. If you are using an emulator like ZSNES that has multiple save state slots, you really dont need the halfway marks anyways...
Dunno why the lava turned bluish though...anyways, let me know! :) |

Yet another long start to a new chapter. To start things off, I probably should have switched to the flash grenade right away instead of waiting until I killed that guy blocking my path. Because it was at the beginning of the segment, I easily could have retried until I dodged him. Anyways, I use a flash grenade to knock off the zealot controlling the dragon which blocked the way to the chest because none of my other weapons seemed strong enough to break the locks efficiently, and shooting him from the side after waiting for the fire to be blown in the middle proved to be too time consuming. This did, however, set me back, as I was a grenade short for the Knights in the following part. Luckily, however, there was a flash grenade conveniently placed on a chair just barely off the beaten path. I shot the falling ceiling tiles before they descended, saving a few seconds(even though it was a bit slow), and I may have been a bit slow killing the second zealot in the killing machine, though I dont know for sure. Right before the knights room, there are suits of armor you have to dodge. During the time where it prompts you to dodge its attack by hitting a button combination, you can walk or run in any direction. The knight attacks too fast to completely dodge the attack, as shown by the second knight, but this is still beneficial because instead of losing five or more steps during the dodge back flip, you only lose those five steps minus the length you managed to go before pressing the dodge buttons. I discovered this trick on these knights, which is why you dont see me use it with Ashley, and I figured it didnt save enough time to warrant a re-run of the previous segment. The actual Knight boss battle went pretty well, though every bit of ammo I picked up proved to be wasted time. One of my biggest regrets of this run was the use of the yellow herb. I didnt mean to pick it up; when I was running toward the door, I was simply tapping A in anticipation of the door, and I accidentally picked it up. It did, however, prove to be moderately useful by the end of chapter five. L-Dis: Stage 1 |

Recently I got hold of a load of PC Engine CD games, some of which I had never played before. L-Dis was one of them, and as I love the shit out of "cute" shooters like this, I figured itd be a good starting point. the easy way - bypassing wr function failed |
| wr uses MessageBoxA to display the error message.
so load wr on the debugger and set a breakpoint on every call to MessageBoxA.
run the game and join a room, after some seconds the debugger will hit the breakpoint.
above the breakpoint there is conditional jump (JGE-jump if greater or equal) so set a breakpoint there and remove the MessageBoxA breakpoint.
join a room again and the debugger will hit the conditional jump breakpoint.
change the command from JGE to JMP and step in once remove breakpoint and change JMP back to JGE.
continue running the game, and the map is empty. |

We are having a lot of trouble with freebsd, especially with the load we experienced. There was also a lot of new internal code that was being tested, as well as some unstable stuff that surfaced today. So its back to fixing.
I really dont know what to say but, sorry. I mean its a stress test and we EXPECT things to go wrong, but people have been telling me "nothing new waste of time gtfo". When really there was a lot of things new, inside anyway, and new things to test out internally. Just because you cant SEE something in game on our servers doesnt mean we havent added anything new.
I just want you guys to understand the reasons for our development actions. We are taking things slow because this software will be used for years to come. We would rather take 100 hours of development time to work on something that, in game, isnt visually beautiful, than to slop together something that looks nice but will fail 3 months down the road.
The themed stress test was a good idea but as a project, we arent ready for it. What we will have to do is stick to traditional stress testing, except adding features at a more consistent rate so it isnt as boring. We will still have stress tests but they will have a bit more quality control than this one has.
TA and Oru are fuckin exhausted and just went to bed. Ive been pulling all nighters almost every night since thursday. So were all pretty tired.
We walked away from this test wiser than before, and more prepared to handle these events.

Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Cloning Glitch!!! |
| Works with the USA version!!!
Instructions:
1. Log on to the Nintendo WFC.
2. Select to deposit the Pokémon that you want to clone.
3. Choose a bogus deal for your wanted Pokémon, i.e. a level 100 Abra.
4. When the "Checking GTS Status" box comes up, pay attention to the little clock in the bottom right hand corner.
5. When the clock has gone around 6 to 8.5 times, shut your DS off. There is no surefire way of knowing when to turn it off; just keep trying until you succeed.
6. Turn your DS back on. A box will come up saying that your save file is corrupted. DONT WORRY! This is completely normal.
7. Load up your game and log in to the WFC again. If you did this glitch right, your Pokémon will be both on your game and in the WFC!
8. Retrieve your Pokémon from the WFC. Voila! You now have two identical clones of your Pokémon!

After you defeat a certain number then Raiden decides its no use and just about gives up. and hes about to get squished by a Ray when guess who shows up, Olga! yeah in a cutscene that I dont have (so I couldnt load it) she revealed to Raiden that shes actually betraying Solidus and all the bad guys because she had a baby but the Patriots took it from her. So they told her to make sure that Raiden doesnt die, cause if he dies, then Olgas child will die. its pretty sad really. and so she jumps in to reveal that shes a traitor and tells Raiden that he has to live seconds before Solidus shoots her in the head. (yeah, thats a good reason why these games are rated M for Mature). yep, they must feel pretty much screwed at this point. -.- |

The Wind Waker AMV |
| This is my first AMV. At first, I didnt like making AMVs. Reason was because, there are scenes you want but they are in one episode and the other one you want is somewhere else. Then once you find all the scenes you want, you have a bajillion episodes to load in. What a hassle. But I think making AMVs out of game maybe easier. This is my first AMV to get the feel for it. Im not sure if it is good. I try matching the scenes with the lyrics, but half way through, I just plugging in scenes where it sounds good with the song. Sorry if it turns out crappy. Please make suggestions or remarks so I can improve my future AMVs. My upcoming AMVs will also be base on Zelda, but its going to be the 64 version. And if anyone can suggest a better Video Editting program, please tell me. Windows Movie Maker is alright but I like to use something else. |

Funny thing is, hes part of a game that the kidnapper(s) have planned. Whats the deal? What ensues is a classic cat and mouse game that will leave your eyes wide in shock until days later. |

Glens Super Mario World - Glens Island Castle |
| Here is the first castle that I remade for the game, and boy did I have a lot of fun with this one!!!
I loved redoing this stage (and I like the castles in general) because I like to turn them into totally brutal deathtraps. You know I mean business here, because the moment you step in to this castle, you have to sidestep a falling Thwomp. I designed this to be a zero B.S. level that will end your game quickly if you are not prepared.
Honestly, I dont know how I was able to speed through it so well, but I guess the fact that the longer the video goes, the bigger the file size is and the less likely youtube will upload it was incentive enough.
This castle features strategically placed multiple Thwomps, Dry Bones and wooden spike pillars, two particulary nasty trips through spike lined areas, a lengthy hop across a huge lava pit loaded with Podoboos and tight jumps onto single blocks, and a few blind turns. Needless to say it took me quite a while before I could make it all the way through this stage, as the difficulty IS nothing short of astronomical.
But, this level is unbelievably glitchy, and Im pretty sure people like mortonandroy and other people completely familiar with Lunar Magic are going to be quick to point it out. Not that I mind of course - like I said, any and all feedback is appreciated. Im sure that the stage can only handle so many sprites before it suffers some slowdown or some of the sprites look distorted. But the level remains intact.
If anyone has any theories as to how I can fix this stuff, please let me know. Thanks and enjoy! :) |

Screwed-up Graphics and a Failed Freeze |
| This is what happens when you try to do the Invisible Swamp freeze on the GCN version.
To do this, dive as normal Link right next to the walkway. While underwater, switch to Zora Link and B will say Dive instead of Punch. Press B and then immediately press the button for Zora Mask and the B button will go blank. Now, climb the ledge and keep pressing B to move around. Dont hold B or youll get stuck and have to transform or play the Ocarina to get out.
In this state, all enemies and sprites (even owl statues for some reason) become inactive. The only thing you can interact with is ladders, and when you do (its hard to get in the right position to climb), you lose even MORE buttons and can only pause.
When you go through the black box that divides the two halves of the swamp, every enemy and sprite doubles. I think the reason that the N64 freezes at this point is because it cant handle the sheer number of things loaded at once. You MUST let the giant Octoroks disappear or kill them with Zora Links fins. If you get caught by them, youre in an infinite loop of pain and can only get out when you die. Also, if you kill the Octoroks, most likely the graphics wont be messed up. Everything will still be doubled though. If you do this glitch again, you will get three, and then four after that. Five will freeze the game regardless of what you do.
Keep in mind that this ONLY works on the GCN version. The N64 version will freeze after one.
The reason you see "Action News" flash for half a second is because when you save like this, the system freezes. The reset button doesnt work, so youll have to turn the system on and off to keep playing. Everything is normal when you load from the file, which actually did save after all. |

This is another pretty good segment, overall. I amazed myself with the shooting of the boxes to make the bridge (of course I only left myself with exactly three bullets, meaning I couldnt miss). Later, however, I miss the Amber Ring once, but missing it gave the enemies just enough time to position themselves in a manner in which I could just run by without getting hit. I use the five seconds which needed to be waited through to get a short load time after the demise of El Gigante to collect Shotgun Ammo and a spinnel. If you flash-forward a few segments, however, this proves to be the wrong decision (as opposed to waiting the time in the pause screen), as I have more than eighty shells in my inventory at one point. The rest of the segment is pretty much running, and nothing really went wrong. |

I used the txd workshop and map editors quite a bit . SA Studios and cam hack as well . My game is so loaded with mods now that it kept crashing during the filming of this , so a re install is due .
The jean jacket skin is changed by me , as well as turning the f.bi. guy brown and making him O.S.I. . I changed the clothes on the Native American tough guy .
I put a few mods together to tweak the tommy face to look the slightest bit different . Was hoping for more but o well.
The name Beckman is a substitute for the name used in the show which was Bekey , I found it easier to read .
*oh the foot print I added straight to the forest floor blend txd and it seems to only appear in 1 little grove of trees in that whole area ,like 11 giant prints the size of a car , its funny and in the video at the end . So I shrunk it down to use as a cheesy effect for the footprint .
Peds cast Female , and new female ambulance pedestrians .

Silly silly Raiden. He never knows what going on til its too late. (actually the only other situation I can think of that phrase can refer to, and that would be with the president. *shrugs*)
Anyway Snakes only idea for him and Raiden to get in Arsenal Gear is to have Raiden technically be captured. lol and you know Snake is cool when he has got a ninja to do his dirty work.
And just so everyone knows. I am NOT going to put up the cutscene where Raiden talks with Solidus and finds out that Solidus is his god father and blah blah blah, because I dont care if they dont actually show anything, the fact is that Raiden is nakey and i just cant bring myself to load it.
So if you HAVE to see it, then you can search somewhere else, cause that whole part of the game is just plain weird. I like the funny kind of weird where Col. Campbell goes nuts and tells you to turn the game off and the "I need scissors! 61!" stuff but Raiden running around nakey is just ..... *twitches* I cant even put it into words. |

Atari 800 Pharaohs Curse (Synapse) |
| Between the ridiculous jumping(infuriating on a real joystick; I used the keyboard for this video) loose collision and too many certain-death situations, this game is utterly flawed for a modern player, but it provided something that other Atari games didnt - a platformer with real exploration and a simple collect-the-objects quest. I didnt get to play it often because we only had a tape version, which took 20+ minutes to load and inevitably failed, discouraging my 5-year-old self, but when I did I felt rewarded by all the cool scenes you could wander through. |

World of Warcraft: The Horror |
| Some people fear Gnomes. Perhaps they were right to.
The size increase was done using winter firewater, halloween candy and an orb of deception on a tiny little gnome. The interface was done using Discord Action Bars, Unit Frames, Frame Modifier and Art, as well as a 3D model generator and Cryolisys. The blue "orbs" were made using photoshop and loaded into the game using Discord Art (they are .tga files) It was pre-burning crusade, but Im sure updated versions of all the mods exist at www.curse-gaming.com. |

Twilight Princess CD-Stream Glitch |
| A brand new glitch I recently discovered for the Gamecube. This Glitch can be used to get into Lake Hylia as soon as you get Epona back, allowing you to skip King Bulbin with the Early Master Sword glitch. See Dead Door Glitch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mjo7k_7wnhk and CD-Stream Collection to see the nifty stuff can do with this trick.
On Wii version: Press the home button and swap the games out. (Note: Thanks to MASTERLINKX for finding out how to do it better on the Wii.)
On Gamecube version: To make it work go out to Hyrule Field, call your horse, remove Twilight Princess during gameplay, and insert either another game or TP upside down (I dont advise flipping the cd over, but you can try...).
Head down another path and listen for the CD to load. That is your cue to dash and aim out of bounds. If your successful, you will be able to float on your horse, sink into an abyss, fall endlessly into an abyss, or sink into an abyss and appear at the spot just before you fell and one step forward will crash the game.
This is my first video upload, so theres not a lot to it. There is one strange thing though that happens that normally doesnt. When I go to retry, I get sent back to the area I originally came from, instead of being trapped in the twilight. |

The Bizarre Adventures of Woodruff and the Schnibble Trailer |
| Snagged from the Kings Quest VII CD. You know, I never beat this game for a few reasons. One was that load times were TERRIBLE. Two was that this game was as solid as a game of Jenga being played by four drunk people. It crashed constantly.
Still, the art style was really neat, the voice acting was pretty good, and what animation I saw I liked. If theres a patch to make the game more solid, Ill definitely try playing through it again. |

Wii-Views Super Metroid Speed Contest V.1.0 |
| Hello, and welcome. This is a contest open to gamers retro and new. Although Im sure this contest wont generate too much attention, I want to spread some Super Metroid love.
The object:
Record yourself playing from the start of the game, to beating the first boss Kraid. (NOT , the piranha plant mini-boss.)

You, for taking time out of your busy day to watch something I spent so much time trying to make as good as possible
From what I remember, the biggest problem in my run for the first few segments was simply inventory management. While the first time I access my inventory to switch to a grenade was pretty quick, everything following that was pretty slow, mainly because I used the wrong control pad when in the inventory screen. As the run progresses, however, I get much better, and it quickly becomes the least of my problems. Also worth noting is the fact that I didnt figure out how to go directly from the inventory screen to the treasure screen until about chapter 3, though it didnt save that much time to warrant re-doing the entire run before that point. This run was segmented once per sub-chapter for a total of 19 segments. Remember, however, that these are reflections, and are not what went through my mind as I was doing the run. Also, I could not re-do just one segment, because the end time would hopefully not match up with the load time of the next chapter, and in difficult chapters, the ammo count would not match up either, meaning I would have to redo all subsequent segments(irregardless of how perfect they were) just to fix a few errors in the first few segments. Im writing this more than a week after I finished the run, so I can now see what I could do differently, rather than how well I did what I thought was the best route, as I was when I first finished a segment and looked it over. Also, while the below statements seem to endlessly list mistakes, I wouldnt doubt that any more than a minute and a half could be shaved off by perfecting my current strategies. Im pretty proud of this run, and will probably only try to improve it if someone were to beat my time.

I start the run out with a critical head shot (the first few enemies heads remain in tact, even in you shoot them with the handcannon), and quickly move on to the main fight scene. Overall, I think it went pretty well. I was hoping for a grenade to drop from the first round of enemies I took out, but this is very rare, and even rarer if you want the head shot and grenade in the same segment, so I decided to leave it be without. Also, the reason I wait after tossing the first grenade is that if I went too far to the left the ganados would not spawn in that convenient alley where I used the second grenade. Again, I was slow healing myself at the end of the fight, but it was still my best time for that chapter. This segment was two seconds faster than my previous best, despite what you see on the save screen, where it appears fourteen seconds were mysteriously shaved off. Finally, I felt the blind shot to the trip-wire at the end was a pretty nice visual add-on, though it didnt actually save or lose time. |

Back to the Future Tribute ---FinalFantasyTactics Characters |
| My third Back to the Future Trilogy Tribute. This time I mixed my favorite movie trilogy with one of my favorite video game series. If anyone has played Final Fantasy Tactics they should be familiar with the music and the style that this is honoring.
If you load Final Fantasy Tactics on the PSX and dont press start eventually a role call of characters and the song used in this movie will be played showing most of the classes as well as a few monster characters found in the game. I figured what better way then to use Back to the Future characters and items and vehicles instead as if they were the characters and objects in said game. I hope you enjoy. I tried to include every major character. Yes I know I left out Needles and Marshall Strickland. There had to be cuts somewhere to keep it in the style of the original work from the game this is referencing. Besides that I tried to emulate it as closely as possible with a few changes to give it a more BTTF feel of course.

Michael Jordan 1987: 56pts Vs. Barkley & 76ers |
| An unbelievable game. MJ went 22-32 and did it with insane jumpers, insane drives, insane dunks, insane defense and insane fury. His offensive attack was so balanced but loaded with one spectacular move after another. There are enough jaw-dropping plays for 30 games here for any other player. With 6 steals, MJs defense was on the same level as his offense - just ferocious the whole game. Barkley all but disappeared.
Edited from what appears to be actual raw NBA baseline footage, the first half is basically a front row seat to MJs domination. You feel the electric, mesmerizing athletic artistry up close in a way that is just different and you just cant take your eyes of MJs incredible presence. The 2nd half goes back to the normal camera angle. Shot in film quality, this video has a surreal and magical feel. Of course, MJs performance might have had something to do with that. |

UofL Denny Crum Show Highlights 11 |
| 1st half of video reviews the Georgia Tech(1/15/1989)game.
2nd half shows the Ohio St(1/29/1989) and Virginia Tech(2/1/1989)games.
Most card fans will remember the importance of this Ohio St game. Following to season opening losses at Xavier, and the buzzer beater at Vandy. The cards at this point had run off 14 straight victories beating #10 UNLV and #19 Georgia Tech. In this game against #17 Ohio St Pervis went down with the knee injury and even when he returned later in the season the cards never seemed to get back to playing the type of ball they were playing before his injury. Eventually losing in the 3rd round of the NCAAs against a loaded #3 Illinois team. |

Zelda Twilight Princess- my Epona minigame- around the world |
| Theres nothing impressive here like there is in the glitch videos or the speedrun videos ...
sightseeing on Epona with a made-up purpose ...
This is a mini-game I made up that involves riding Epona while trying to go fast and avoid getting hit, and wasting lots of rupees (if you dont reset afterwards).
Instructions: Start in Faron Woods, right where you can walk into Hyrule Field, when you have 1000 rupees (I dont think you can make it with 600). Save the game. Put on your magic armor. Go immediately to Hyrule Field, and race all the way around the whole path with no black loading screens (over Lake Hylia bridge, through the field with guys on boars north of Kakariko Village etc.) You can go either clockwise or counterclockwise. Then re-enter Faron Woods, take off your magic armor, and make note of how many rupees you have left. Reset your game.
My personal best is 248 rupees left. For me that took several tries and lots and lots of luck. But I bet some people can beat that. Still, if you can finish with 200 left your first try youre doing well. Once you know the route well, the main factor in your final score is how well you can avoid taking hits, which for someone like me whos not super good at the game is very random.
Going anywhere that involves a load screen is not allowed, except for leaving and eventually re-entering Faron Woods, which are required. Taking off the magic armor is not allowed. Picking up rupees is allowed, if you can find any that are worth it.
I think this could be competitive. I hope some people try it. If you want, post your best score.

THD MUGEN Team Battle: Team Lucider |
| In a crazy, forgotten world, Billy Lee and Nrvnqsr Chaos fight against Lei-Lei (Phantom of the Server), a Chinese zombie who likes to play with knives, and Dio Brando (Warusaki3), an evil vampire who also likes to play with knives.
Lei-Lei is feared, and rightfully so-POTS loaded her with some tough game that focuses on keep-away and the abuse of powerful projectiles. Dio isnt too much to worry about, though he will still take advantage of holes in your strategy sometimes. As Billy Lee, I abuse his "stylish kick", which has him slide, then flip backwards-its vital to sneaking past Lei-Leis guard, and a huge part of Billys overall game. I wish I fired more supers, though. Supers always make a battle even more fun.

| This is the 3rd movie I ever made in vegas, edited in 2005 using doom footage when the game was released. It wasnt exactly good or meaningful to make this in the slightest way but it was good practice at the time. Basically the use of learning simple effects.
The music is personal opinion. I dont think Id use it now either if I remade the movie, it seemed fitting to the game.
Ive played through the game, then had the idea that I felt like making a video of it. I started recording footage and keeping spots of saved games that I wanted to capture in the future, but I would get killed A LOT during heavy areas. People would be surprised how much I was killed during the final boss (meteors), then the scene would be ruined and I would have to retake it. All for a 6 second shot. The cheating in most cases is accidental, I wouldnt turn it off and continue playing without notice. If I was being hit, I assumed later I wouldnt use that scene and load up another game and go back to that spot without cheats. It came down to a large amount of time in something that really isnt *that* good. I only wanted to work on this for so long. Sorry if this bothers anyone :) I used the god where I felt like it and accidently left it on too long. Not like Im fixing it at this point now. Too old! |

Magna Carta / The ending/ |
| end of Magna Carta! This is also know as Crimson Stigmata in Japan/Korea; the original game is vastly different but also stars Calintz & is a Korea-only PC game. Its called Phantom of Avalanche. Do a Google search & see what an awesome game it IS. The U.S. version of MC suffers from bad voice acting. Also, the load times are quite long. Had these two factors been better programmed/acted, the game would likely have received very high ratings. Overall, the story is good but not excellent. Music and sound effects are an 9/10 in my opinion. Lastly, the character art & battle sequences are superb & quite a bit of work went into them. Overall, without the problems I rate this game a 9/10. Rent it first, if you can find it.

Ocarina of Time Music Video |
| So Im playing Ocarina of Time (Gamecube version), and I think to myself, "I wonder if I could do this within 24 hours?" Ive seen speed runs in under five hours, but they skip all the bonuses and fun elements of the game.
So yesterday I loaded myself up on Vanilla Diet Pepsi, and finished Ocarina in 18 consecutive hours, without dying, and with all upgrades, items, heart pieces, small keys, Boss keys, compasses, dungeon maps, and all 100 Skulltulas. I started at 8:50 a.m. and finished at 2:50 a.m., taking short breaks every two hours or so.
I took short, one-minute, video clips of the beginning, the ending, and my progress every 100 minutes in between. Ive edited them and strung them together into a two-minute montage more-or-less chronicling the game.
A lot of the key elements of the game are left out of my montage, such as Epona, the mini-games, and more of the plot, but its interesting to see my progression in 100-minutes intervals. And it makes a nice music video anyway. |

Since I was always pleased that my old 16-bit DOS games ran in CGA as well as VGA, at the end I threw in a little bit of that.
This was my first PC game, actually. I didnt have an art program yet, so I drew everything on the Amiga in 32-color mode. My initial thinking was that it would be a kids game, and Id take orders and paste in photos of the child for quick bucks - in that version the ultimate goal was to "rescue the kitty". The sprites for the cat are still on the texture page. I dropped that idea later and made it Super Sales Acer, based on jokes between myself and a friend that I covered elsewhere.
I only had a small freeware compiler back then, I had 64k for code and 64k for data, and I didnt know how to access more than that, since Ive never worked on a segmented architecture before, so I would just load up the BMP, grab the data I wanted, and run with it. ;)
I submitted this as a sample for a coding job, and was informed "the worst programmer in the world could have written this". While a bit harsh, that does mean theres hope for all you budding coders! ;) |

Omega Zero in tundra stage |
| I found the IPS hacked megaman zero 3 game that will make you play as omega zero. Omega will have a voice for his dash and for some of his other moves. He will also do a perfect buster look.Also he will have the correct dialog box for his face. The good part is that it the patching was already done for me. Since I am a really nice guy I dont think there is any harm in giving you the link to the IPS hack. The site is http://download.yousendit.com/F498A9B51584F655 . When you download it you need a program called winrar to extract the file and then you will be able to play the game. If you dont have it go to download.com or go to google and search download winrar. When you done all that and have extracted the game you go to visualboyadvance or another GBA emulator and load up yer Hacked game. When you start the game and start playing you will notice that he wont have his colour but he has his pink saber and his large buster. That is where the other file comes in. The other file is codebreaker codes for his colour and his ex moves. When you loaded the codebreaker codes now you have the perfect omega zero. Extra Heart Container in Majoras Mask! |
| This is probably one of the best glitches we will ever find in a Gamecube game.
To do this:
Preliminary steps:
Give your Gamecube a nice, long rest. It may help in allowing the system to handle the large number of things that will be loaded at once.
Beat Odolwa. This will get rid of many many things that will duplicate otherwise (Octoroks, flower things, miscellaneous objects), thus making it impossible to do this glitch without it freezing. It will also stop you from getting hurt by the poison water.
Give the Moon Tear to the Deku thing in Clock Town and trade the title deed to this one to get rid of another duplicating object.
Cut down the plants that have the fairy and Deku Stick. These are also useless.
1. Dive in the water right next to the dock as normal Link. Put on the Zora Mask while underwater. Your buttons should say what they would if Zora Link was in deep water.
2. Press B, then the button for the Zora Mask immediately after (or just press B repeatedly and hope you press the button for the Zora Mask at the right time). Your B Button will be blank.
3. Climb onto the dock. You must now press B to move (or use a Deku Stick/Great Fairy Sword). Dont hold B or youll be frozen and have to transform/play the Song of Soaring to get out.
4. Keep attacking your way past the black area that separates the two halves of the swamp. Make sure you actually see Zora Link floating in the sky before you transform back to normal control or the game may freeze later.
5. IMPORTANT! Do not bump into anything that isnt a wall while in the invisible half. If you do, the game will more than likely freeze when you get to the black box at the end.
This step may result in a few freezes your first few tries. However, its all just trial and error. Thats why I walked through instead of rolling/swimming.
6. Walk through said black box. Then number of most things in the swamp will have increased by once (essentially doubled, but for a real definition, its +1). Every time the video skips, that adds one frog (and everything else) since I didnt want to record it all and have a 30-minute video.
7. Now, to further decrease the lag, get onto and sink every one of the lily pads on your way back to the first dock. Also, cut down the circle of plants near the Photo Hut. This may seem boring, but it also seems to prevent freezing when more things are added.
8. Repeat steps 1-7 three more times for a total of five of each thing. If you want to, you can get rid of the frog(s) too by talking to it/them with the Don Gero Mask. As you see in the last part of the video, unfortunately Nintendo was smart and assigned each area with a frog only one frog regardless of how many you actually talk to.
9. Now, get all five heart pieces. It is not advisable to do what I did using Goron Link, because if you enter the Photo Hut by accident, youre completely screwed and have to do it ALL over again.
You MUST do one of the following things before trying to leave the swamp...:
1. Song of Time
2. Save at Owl Statue
3. Go to Witch Hut
4. Go to other half of swamp
...Because the following things...:
1. Song of Soaring
2. Song of Time
3. Save at Owl Statue
4. Exit to the path with the shooting gallery
5. Enter Photo Hut
...Will freeze the game. Yes, the Song of Time and Owl Statue will freeze the game. However, the game saves before that, so its okay.
Finally, sorry that you had to see me deleting and copying, but if the game had frozen before I finished recording, Id be beyond pissed (add to that the fact that I didnt know at the time you could go to the other half of the swamp and wasnt about to risk losing everything to try). Id probably destroy the Gamecube. If you have any questions, dont hesitate to ask.
This glitch does not work on the N64 because the N64 cant handle everything being loaded. Do not ask if this is possible on the Wii should it be released, because you can try yourself. |

Half-Loaded Swamp Area + Funny Game Freeze |
| Weird glitches never stop coming. This proves it :P
Begin by getting to the top of the Southern Swamps Ticket Booths roof. Set up the endless sword glitch via bomb while up there, and then bombchu levitate past the Giant Octorok.
When you are off the map (your arrow is the yellow one) fall down. You should be in invisible poison-swamp water. There should also be two big, two-dimensional black squares. The one I land by in the video leads to the Swamp Spider House (if you go in the square). The other, however, freezes the game.
Funny thing about this game freeze. Everything should be all weird and stuff for a while, and then *poof* the screen turns to a frozen Song of Soaring cutscene. Very fun :P |
