Things That Control Us (Art Movie) With Soundtrack |
| For the last 13 years, Herbert Midgley has been making Art Movies. This is his masterpiece, all with no budget and very little tech equipment.
Herb, the Internet Legend, has heard from people that if they had a good camera or some other piece of equipment, they would make a great movie.
Boulder Dash!!! He made this movie using only his digital camera on movie mode. 30 short Quicktime Movies, edited in iMovie to make this masterpiece in the French Style.
The soundtrack was made in GarageBand with Herb playing in all the parts on the iBook. You can hear the guitar strings scratches, howls, glasses being hit with keys and a recorder in this Avant-garde soundtrack.
This is the final cut, sound and music had been added.

| A terrain hugger for Kennywood. (Imaginary, of course.) Think of it as Kennywoods Boulder Dash (at Lake Compounce in Connecticut). Designed by me and built by Gravity Group, this wooden-steel hybride will travel 157 feet high, dropping down a double dip at speeds of up to 63 MPH. The Phantom will fly you through a heavily wooded ravine through airtime-filled bunnyhops, a trick track, and a Lateral G-filled 540-degree helix before completing the 4500-foot run. |

Rockfall for the ZX Spectrum |
| I review Rockfall the fantastic boulder dash style game for the ZX Spectrum
One thing that was really interesting about this game is that like most games it was part basic and part machine code however
It was easy to call the machine code from the address from basic and than dismiss it it seems anyway
You can get into the basic code and change certain variables for certain things like which level to start and how much lives you wanted
The machine code was obviously the actual game, and the title screen was the basic counterpart
It would recall an obvious USR address to initiate the machine code part which was loaded into memory to start the beast
Fantastic game, notice the timespam of the years of the title screen...
I wonder if anyone cares to comment about the years......
Anyway have fun watching the video - i might make a tribute to this game soon...... watch my youtube and subscribe if you can....
